Brake disc dimensions?????

Was wondering if anyone know the dimension for front brake discs for a 98 4.5 Chimaera? there is a choice of three for the height from EBC turbo grooved.

All 260mm diameter but can get them with 47mm / 53mm / 58mm for the height.

Cant find anything anywhere for the actual proper size, the ones on the car seem to be about 50mm, so there no help,
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have just this minute put my wheels back on my '98 450 having determined I am out of grippy stuff!!! I too have noted the disc diameter question. The TVR Shop at http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/product-subsection... suggests a choice on the front of 239mm or 260mm with the back being covered by one set for both 253mm and 273mm discs.

I am off to measure mine. Back soon.

OK a ruler and two bits of coathanger wire later (precision is not an issue here clearly) mine come out as 260mm front and 273mm rear. The bible urges caution when selecting a donor vehicle but as I will be getting mine from a specialist I expect them to have weeded out the "close but not quite" variations.

The ones I have for my V8S are 58mm high which I believe is the same disc.
They are the same spec as for any 2WD Sierra with ABS or the older XR4i.
Non ABS Sierras have 240mm discs same as earlier Grifearas & All S Series

Not sure why there are 3 heights but one of them will certainly be for 4WD models.

Just to let everyone know that the brake discs for the front of a 4.5 chimaera is 53mm in height and 260mm in diameter for a 1998 model. just fitted new ebc turbo discs and they look fab!
