You will need 5 stud hubs to exchange your 4 stud ones.
Of course, once you have changed the hubs, your 4 stud discs wont fit either, so new 5 stud discs also...

Speak to Ian @ Sportmotive.com for hubs.

TVR Power did the conversion on my 500:

They are 16" spiders with a Tuscan brake set-up.
I think they look a great improvment over standard but look a little small on the rear. 18" look a little too big IMHO.
If only they made 17" spiders....

I was in Racing Green today and they said a company will be bringing out a converison kit in the very near future. I was hoping to find out where the parts come from and do it myself wink I was a bit dissapointed to hear from them, and L33, that only 16" can be fittedfrown I love the 18s but I presume the are too wide?? Anyone out there with 18s on a Chim??

Once again, speak to Ian @ Sportmotive.01782 333008
He already does a kit for you to fit yourself, he also has 18" wheels awaiting just for you.

You remove your hub flanges, and make up a spigot ring, then drill the original flange. You just need slightly longer studs.

First set of spigots I saw came from Peninsular IIRC (prior to Factory upgrade)..

18" or 16" Spiders fit, with appropriate geo, tyres, bodywork.. can't see a problem (as long as fronts on front and rears on rear wink )

This chim (for sale) is running on 18" spiders:

I stick to my original view that 18's look to big under a Chim, whereas 16's look too small and If TVR made 17" spiders, they'd be spot-on.

Agreed...and the 18" rims significantly increase bump steer and tramlining. Why spoil a good ride just for the aesthetic value. These cars are for driving not for looking at.
