Another lovely crisp day here today, in to work with the roof off.
So - what do you guys do with the windows when you have the roof off? I have found that with the driver's side window all the way up, my head gets a bit of buffeting. So I lower it a few inches which pushes the airflow onto my neck.
What do you all do with the windows?
ETA: At one particular combination of driver and passenger windows (about 3 inches drivers side, and 6 inches passenger side), it's perfect - except that a strange very cold pocket of air develops above my left thigh.

Very rare i take the roof off, i suppose deep down its lazyness but its just to much of a faf about on short jerneys to put it back on again at the other end, plus i hate to see the rear screen all creased up once its been down then put back up, i soooooooo do miss the electric roof on my last car.
Fold it carefully and undo the velcro at the sides and you should be fine...!
Re not taking the roof off, thats just silly! Why else would it have such a powerful heater if TVR didn't intend for the roof to be off all of the time?! It just makes driving the thing so much nicer (and it sounds better with the roof off
)

)Roof down regularly, never just drive with the targa off and the pram hood up.. Always drive with both windows down unless its a torrent of rain.
Rear window doesn't crease if your carefull, it needs gentle folding as the roof lowers, a firm press as it gets home just secures it and gives good view from the mirror.
I have only had the car 2 months and i'd say at least 30 days its had the roof down LOL, no creases in the window at all. I might even do a stage by stage photo guide for those who can't suss it. lol
People already think we're crackers for buying a TVR, they think no less of us if we have the roof down in winter. I suspect the 'chest wigs' will be warmer though LOL

I'm with you on this one and have found a balance between the heights of the passenger and drivers window are good for motorway cruising but I drop the windows all the way if I'm on slower roads and the weather's not sub-zero.So - what do you guys do with the windows when you have the roof off? I find leaving the rear targa up is not an option as it causes more buffeting...
I've also noticed that strange pocket of moving air as well....
Roof off!
Driver's window down, passenger's window up (depending on passenger's preference).
My rear window was replaced a couple of years ago, and the 'plastic' is definitely stiffer than the original, which makes folding the rear section in the cold weather a tad tricky if creasing is to be avoided.
Summer time....no probs.

Roof off whenever possible and windows up for motorway & spirited driving in the winter...down for slower pace and summer
Putting the rear section down can be tricky when you have a thick screen like mine...even more difficult when cold and where the plastic meets the fabric the creasing is starting cause the plastic to split! Even when you carefully try to put it down the creasing always finds it's way to the same weak spot where it meets the fabric. I reckon it's the original screen so being nearly 11 yrs old it's probably time to get a new (softer & clearer) rear screen
I've seen a few on other cars that are much softer than mine, which makes folding down much easier and less prone to creasing.
Anyone know who offers rear screen replacements in the Midlands?

Oh bugger

Windows down 24/7 unless torrential rain roof off at the slightest bit of blue sky whether -5 or +25c
I dont wear woolly hats! im 41 and still got all my hair!! so i go for the cool look! Paul Smith scarf keeps the neck warm!!!!!!! only thing that niggles me is why oh why do people blast their music (and most of it sounds pants these days) mega loud when their roof is down? mainly BMW Merc and Peugeot drivers!!!!!!!!!!! Us lot we drown em out with our cherry bombs/exhaust notes while seeing them disappear to a dot the size of an atom in the rear view mirror!

I use this stuff on my rear screen 303 Protectant it's great for cleaning but the added bonus is that it softens the plastic. The screen is stiffer in the winter because of the lower temperatutres but is noticeably more supple than before I started using it.
I have the passenger window down by 177.6mm and the drivers window down by 213.84mm.
I have my Jasper Conran woollen hat at a jaunty 17 degrees and my Calvin Klein scarf wound exactly 2.4 times around my neck then tucked 210mm into my coat collar.
This produces a stiff breeze around my mouth for when I'm talking bo***cks
