Hello everybody i am new to this but i hope somebody can help ,the car is due for a mot friday 9.30 and i have noticed the horn doesnt work can anybody tell me where it is situated on car thanks

Are both fans working? (probably not been on in this weather) if not it may be the fuse. Perhaps easier to check that first?

remove the radiator grill and they are both situated in front of the rad...lift the bonnet and you will see two bolt heads that hold the horns in place...
also check the wire is connected to the horn button on the steering wheel, you will need to remove the steering column plastic to check this....

if you get stuck give us a shout and i shall take soem pictures to show you what to look for...i have to take my steering column to bits tomorrow any way for some mods i am doing

swansea only had car 1 day mot in the morning should be ok with horn the car has been standing since last october ,the only other thing i spotted ws the reversing light stays on all the time

Thanks i will let you know how i get on i took a bit of a gamble buying car with no mot, but it has full history and hpi clear so here goes

yes no problems apart from battery went flat (lack of use )and now the mileometer returns to 0 everytime i start the car ?
