Mileometer - Thanks for the advice.

After the mileometer has been reading 39999 for about 15 miles I did a search on Pistonheads and surprise surprise I am not the only person this has happened to.

Took the combined tips and reversed down the road swiftly.
Forward with a couple of taps on the dial and now it's reading 40004.

Same happened to me last year coming back from Lemans when the clock stuck on 19999 for a couple miles. I remebered that I'd read somewhere about the problem and "knocking the clock" fix which worked for me.

That's strange two people with the same problem posting at the same time.....

Quickly pressing the reset button while driving has sorted it for me the couple of times it's happened.
