right my car could do with a service pretty soon but im also considering a cam upgrade with the required work to get everything running as it should be. ie a rolling road set up.so wondering who to use, have tried topcats in the past and they were fine but from memory no rolling road and tower view who i use to try are no longer around. i gather austec are set up for this stuff or maybe offords.is there anyone else ive missed?

Tower View is indeed still servicing. Phone Dave Wallis on 0208 452 6922. This number will connect you to Dave's number.

When I saw Dave at the Herts and Beds meeting 3 weeks ago he said he'd collect my car on a low loader + service. No extra charge for the collection.

You may also want to consider Teqniques in Stotfold (J10 A1). Although Brian specialises in Morgans (and supports many race cars in UK ans Europe), he also takes care of a large number of TVR's. Good people to deal with.

I have also used Silverstone Performance who did some work including my 4 wheel geometry etc. and Matt was good to deal with. Got a nice new reception there now too with lots of car DVDs to watch!

I seem to remember someone mentioning a place or person in potters bar that was good for servicing and repairs? - Not necessarily for rolling road but i have got a few bits i need doing to my car (dampers, ball joints) and could do with somewhere good with a reasonable hourly rate!

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Cheers.

ive heard good things about silverstone performance but their pricing on the website seems on the high side.i know you pay for good quality work etc but they seem quite a bit higher.

TVR Centre would be your best bet.

I suggest...................Allon White Sports Cars. http://www.allonwhite.co.uk/workshop.asp_Q_make_E_...

Very knowledgeable, very reasonable. Have always done excellent work on my Lotus Elan and my 500 Chim. No rolling road tho'!
Give them a ring, you have nothing to lose!

I used to use them for my old wedge and now my chim is down there having it's engine rebuilt. They're a good bunch, highly recommended.

Used the TVR Centre for 18 months with my S3 and now my Chimaera. In my opinion/experience they are great. Would definitely recommend them. Speak to Martin.
