I've been working hard and saving the pennies and now I'm ready to embark on a few upgrades for the chim. Here are my ideas so far, any other ideas I should be considering ? I dont want to mess with the engine at this point as Im more than happy with the performance.
Stuff already done:
Brake upgrade drilled/grooved black diamond with EBC reds
s/s Braided brake lines
Rose jointed arb drop links
Bosch coil, magnecore leads, new extenders all round
My current ideas:
1. New wheels 17F 18R, mainly due to lack of 15F tyre availability. Will sell my estorils to keep costs down
2. Suspension - Gaz Golds, full geo and corner weighting
3. ACT induction pipes
4. Replace exhaust manifolds with new s/s ones without cats - I have a blowing manifold gasket so going to have both replaced so seems to make sense to replace the manifolds while they are off as they are looking a bit ropey
Cheers

Doing the exhaust was one of the best mods I've done (replaced with ACT decat stuff with the cherrybomb system at the back - great noise and gives a muscle car feel
When doing the intake, things to look at would be filter, smooth bore induction, new trumpets/trumpet base and a 72mm throttle - I started with the first two, but have since done the throttle as well. You won't pick up much power (probably won't notice the difference TBH but the car will rev much better and feel more lively to drive which is a big plug IMHO
Other good mods I've done have been the leven dash (looks great), LED dash bulbs (looks great with the dash), Emerald ECU - but not sure you'd want to start playing with ignition etc if you're not going for power mods but it does improve the driveability of the car a lot among many other things.

Hi thenick, I've already had the exhaust sleeved , forgot to add that to the list ! I think the engine mods, new ECU etc will come next year. This years focus is to make sure it handles and stops well, I think its best to sort those items out first before embarking on making her go faster....
Looking forward to seeing you in June thenick will be interesting to pore over your mods !

The best Mod I did was changing the ECU chip to the Tornado.
It does not increase power, but does completely alter the character of the car and makes it sooo much nicer to drive. I have also had the ignition upgraded and the inlet side of the injection done, plenum and bellmouths etc and the difference is quite remarkable.
To be frank it was bloody horrible to drive when I first purchased the car, but tis now a complete joy.
