Hi all,

I'm just planning some easter work which will involve a full carpet re-trim with a new set from Coverdale. I remember sometime last year looking at a thread of a guy re-trimming his Chim in bright red carpet and had a pretty detailed photo account of how he did it etc. I would really like to find it so I can get some pointers before attempting the job, so does anyone know where it is?? I've tried searching coverdale, re-trim etc to no avail!

Calling red Chim guy!!shout

Don't think that's the thread, the one I'm thinking of was definitely a red car with bright red carpets but this one will help all the same! I shall email him and ask if he still has the photos...

Coverdale haven't told me what they're currently charging, but since I put the original quote through last April (it took me this long to find Portland Grey Vinyl!), they're charging me what they quoted last year which is £300 I believe... Car needs it though, everythings looking smart apart from the sun-bleached carpets so should make a good Easter job!

Maybe I'm tight but, when you look at what is charged for carpet for similar size cars I can't help feeling we are being done.
Also, when I first contacted coverdale in 2004 I posted their details on here. I think it generated quite a few enquiries & almost overnight they jacked the price right up! grumpy

Yeah I don't have that hosting package any more so my pics went.. I will see if I can find the photos somewhere on my home PC and re-populate the thread.
