After a year and a half of trouble free service I am selling my Chimaera.... I will return one day, maybe in a Cerbie.
For now I would be very grateful for any advice in getting a fair price for the car and, or the number of a good valet service to get it looking its best.
Thanks in advance, and thanks for all the useful answers over the past couple of years, this is far and away the best forum I've seen in any subject.

Don't sell it to the trade or p/ex it then. It may be easy and quick but you will lose out by a four-figure sum. Best price is by selling privately but you will probably have to put up with test pilots and it might take some time to go, especially if you're starting high. Depends how patient/persistent you are!
No - I didn't make the Royal Oak (due to Girlfriend's friend having emotional incident that we had to go to the rescue of). Made a small bid for freedom that included a slight detour round the Pirbright Bends mind (how could that have happened?).
So who else has a black Griff round here - good taste, obviously!
Actually I think that your car could command a little higher, or certainly worth asking a bit more. But we can all see it's a difficult market for any secondhand cars at the moment - for some reason the Griffs can command a premium, but no I'm not selling thank you (not until the right Tuscan is ready for me, anyway!).
Bottom line is that cars are only worth what someone will pay for them, but you have the advantage of one that is more eye-catching than the rest (I nearly said common herd, but I don't know the collective noun for Chimaeras.......
.......
a "cabal" sounds good though?)
