Talking about having the Chim recarpeted here!

Any personal experiences of these out there? Wish you'd gone for one and not the other kind of thing?

On the face of it, polyprop seems to be the more logical choice as water ingress is always a possibility.

Just done mine with the man-made. Much more sensible for an open top with the occasional leak wink Wool is more plush though. May advice is to go for wool is you use your car on sunny days and garage it. Go for man-made poly stuff if kept outside and used all seasons idea

I am also thinking of getting my Chim re-carpeted due to the existing magnolia carpets being water stained. Polyprop sounds a good bet.

Any suggestions as to where I can get some carpets & whether they come pre-cut for Chimaeras?

Give Coverdale a ring 01942 255535 around £320 plus postage for precut set plus glue choice of any colour/trim or local trimmers all in inc fitting £450 cash im just deciding best option as the extra to the local trimmers cuts out all the hassle of removal/replacement of fittings and fixtures

Cheers Madmax2. Have contacted Coverdale. £320 for PP excl. additional carpet for door inserts. £390 for wool.

Am now looking for a local trimmer in West Yorks (see separate thread). Any recommendations appreciated.
