Whilst changing the clutch on the 4.0 chimaera, I've discovered that my thurst carrier bearing holder is plastic. Now there's a component that likely to go south!

I've got the bearing for the metal one.

Which vehicle is the metal carrier from? Is it a Range Rover V8? As I'd need to get one from the motor factors tomorrow.

Does no one know what the plastic integrated bearing assembly is from? I've been down to the land rover dealer but it's not a Range Rover.

When I replaced this on my V8s, I got mine from TVR Power.

I found that the plastic component 'lugs' failed which caused the clutch operation to become completely 'solid'.

Phone Dom at 'Power' very helpful.

Johno that's the type. Mines different on the bearing retainer. What vehicle is that from?

Looks like a LT77s gearbox from a Land Rover Defender 90/110
