shock bolt size

Sorry the search is not working

Anyone know what size socket required for the the top and bottom bolts holding on the shock absorber. I guess they are imperial. A 19mm is a bit loose once they are worked a bit.
Replacing mine this weekend.
Any tips welcomed for the lower fronts.

I find a flank spanner on the nut & a ring spanner on the bolt the best combination once they have been initially loosened

1/2" UNF bolts ~ various AF's available (a bit smaller is better )
