Spent donkeys on the Chim and now in the final stages of refurb. Just the roof to go. But just thought I'd post these pickies to show what the Bilt & Hamber stuff can do. Actually makes the paint look wet.
And it not only works on TVRs but lowley Alfas aswellwink

Loving the wheels more and more each day!!!

Where do I start? I will have a full thread with pictures of all work done but its more to do with smartening the whole car up along with chasis work, brakes, wheels, engine bay, battery access, ignition system, and the most lengthy work of bringing the paintwork back to life after being under cover for 2 years with 90% friction scratches. Once the roof comes I will have a detailed description of work done and costs to people an idea of how much something can cost.

Thanks guys. In regards to the body work I had to use a rubbing compound and a paint buffer to remove all the scatches and friction marks. It was in really bad condition, but luckily enough the actual paintwork was very good with no crows feet or flakey laquer.
Once the paint was smoothed out and there were only fine scratches from the compound I used T Cut to give a smooth finish. I then cleaned the car and went over it with the clay before using the balm.
Its taken a lot longer than would normally take, but the paintwork is now like glass and shows off the colour fantastically.

It really bring all the colour in the paintwork out. Looks totaly different now.

The finish, still has the odd light scratch that will come out with Tcut and then clayed and balmed.

This shows a little bit of how the body was. Cant really see the severity of the scratches but ya can see it wasn't good.

Hi, car looks great. Out of interest, which rubbing compound, paint buffer and T Cut did you use?

I've not completed it yet but ya can look here www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=... and it will give ya an idea of what works been done. A more comprehensive thread will be coming once the roof is in place.
