Anyone had a front end respray recently?

Just trying to get an idea on costs for a front end respray to get rid of the usual stonechips.

I found a price on the TVRPower website which was £850 ex vat. Is this typical?

I've doen some searches on PH but all posts are a bit dated so any recent experiences on here?

Hello Mousey, pm if you want t know who didnt do a good job when I had mine done ! I can recomend option one who did a top rectification job.

had my chim done last year,bonnet both wings front valance and mirrors,used a local sprayer ive known for years, top job total cost £400. hope this helps

A few years back I paid £680 for the whole front end, bonnet, wings nose cone, mirrors, and even the passenger door, so even though I know the price of paint has gone up it 'should' come in well under a grand.

Just had mine done including front wings for 300.00 by local shop looks great.

Another vote for 'Option One' here. They've done two TVR's for me and both were superb with no issues whatsoever.

I see you're in Sutton - I'm in Balham and used Bee Gee Coachcraft in New Malden (just off the A3) for mine. Call Gary for a quote - he's a top bloke and his rates are great. He used to do all of Gatwick TVR's bodywork repairs and did a great job if mine.
