Hi Everyone,
I've had a few Chims but never ventured into the land of mods. However I'm off to the nurburgring next month and am keen to maximise the joy!
After reading many pages on the cam upgrade options I am now totally confused. I had wanted the stealth but it seem that unless the head is ported I cant use it?

Can anyone tell me what cam upgrades are available for the 400 NOT HC, and has anyone fitted them ?
Looking to buy this/next week so any help greatly appreciated

Just had the MC1 cam from V8 developments fitted ready for the pootle down to Le Mans.....supposedly easier for driving around town (unlike the Stealth) without sacrificing on top end performance. Felt good driving home (long way round driving) and very eager from 3,000 RPM onwards, but must admit I've not had much chance since to put it through it's paces!

Do V8 Developments do fitting, or just cam sales?

Who told you you cant use it unless the heads are ported?? that makes about as much sense as using petrol to put a fire out!

Interested in this thread as I want to replace the cam at some stage and was looking at the Stealth version.

Any ideas about possible costs involved to include fitting?

I was quoted £1000 to supply and fit a standard cam. Would be interested in hearing costs if anyone has had a cam from V8 Developments.

Just bought the Piper Stealth 285 complete cam kit (chain , followers etc) for £320! from V8 Developments. In terms of fitting, I'm going to do it myself, well with help from my mate who works Building the New FABIO GTS cars (check it out on google /youtube!) new UK sports car company with Ex-Marcos man at its head

It's not a Stealth then. The Stealths are ground by Kent to Rob's spec.
