Hi, any idea what thius could be - driving along and the hazards will start flashing, and then stop again. Wondering if it could be linked to the alarm. It's a 1998 Chimaera 450. Anyone had anything similar? Thanks
I had the same problem on my 98 400. I didnt ever prove conclusively what the problem was, but I am pretty sure it was the alarm getting confused. Resetting the alarm using the keyfob into the immobilizer slot on the steering column seemed to cure the problem.
META alarms are easily confused and are very easy to reset. Remove the eart from the car battery, leave off for 5 seconds, put back on again then immediately press the plipper to turn the alarm off. At least you eliminate a confused alarm from the list of possible problems.
