I finally got my radiator recored locally - they did a fantastic job. Everything was going perfectly until I screwed it all up royally. Being the ham fisted moron that I am I managed to drop the bleed screw into the engine bay (near the radiator) and the bleed screw has vanished (I suspect some kind of blackhole/singularity). I've checked underneath the car - removed the radiator again - looked in, under and around the nose cone and it's no where to be found.

I've spent the last hour swearing and looking/looking and swearing - now I've given up. Are these things easy to replace? I'm going to ask the radiator place that did the recore for me but just in case they can't help it'd be good to know where I can get one.

Why not get in touch with one of the breakers like bell hill, there's bound to be a spare there.

Be gentle screwing it back in as after quite a lot fo use and my wrist being out of calibration I over did mine, although £5 and a talented fellow had it sorted, it was a paint to have to have it out again just to remedy my own stupidity.
