Most likely to be the immobiliser as fuel pump and starter are often distinct circuits that pass through it. Is the battery healthy?

yes battery charged no dipp in lights when the key is turned ,when the car was ok you could turn the car over no problem then when you activate the keyfob then the pump would kick in ,thats why i thought the immobiliser was ok is the fuel pump relay and starter related ?

The fact the lights are not dimming indicates the starter is not drawing any current... try checking the switched feed to the solenoid (not the big fat battery/alternator cable) and you may well find the solenoid is not being activated... that tends to indicate the relay is not tripping. The fact the fuel pump is not priming (which is the counterpart relay in the footwell) tends to point immobiliser direction (either module or related wiring) as both circuits are immobiliser isolated.

Checked this morning the fuse box is soaking wet and a couple of relays are corroded there are two relays not plugged in but have cables connected to them ,shall i replace all relays?

Obviously the fuse box will need to be dried out thouroughly and all contacts checked and cleaned. You may find you don't need new relays unless the corrosion has gone too far.

Unless the starter motor circuit has been modified eg. by fitting the 'hot start' relay kit there will be no separate relay in that circuit (other than the internal relay in the immobiliser itself).

You have a collection of long wires with some relays on the end of them. One connector doesn't have a relay in it.

On of these relays controls the fuel pump. It should click click when the ignition is switched on. I had a problem with a broken wire to the relay. Check all wiring connections to the relay.

I would ring Dom at TVR Power tomorrow and ask this advice. They are a first class team.

Sorry, that's absolutely correct... I was forgetting mine had an 'extra' (and I fitted it!)

I am a bit closer now than yesterday but still problems, the starter motor turns engine over now faulty ignition switch but the fuel pump is not priming i bypassed the alarm still the same ,there is no volage on the inertia switch i have checked every fuse and replaced all relays no joy if you apply 12v to the yellow inertia swicth the pumps runs no problem after 6 hrs looking for loose connections ect i have drawn a blank could it be the ecu??

Fuel pump is fed from one of the two steel relays on the end of the loom in the footwell. Relay should have a permanent +12V supply via a fuse. Relay is energised by an ignition switched +12V, grounded by the ECU. Relay output feeds the inertia switch; this then feeds the pump. This part of the circuit will also pass through the immobiliser. Note that not all cars will necessarily be wired identically to this.

Finally got there . the output voltage from the relay no 87 was not getting to the fuse ,open circuit cable i rewired and pump primed ,the funny thing is after making sure that all contacts were ok in fuse box ,i now have a working horn, interior light and i feel she runs better anyway thanks for those who gave input
