Okay this is getting ridiculous now!

Yesterday there was 2 inch of water in passenger side footwell, and ECU was on floor after all the fuel pump problems I'd been having. Anyway, car started fine but then began to break down, to the point where it would idle but not rev without breaking down. Picked ECU up and gave it a shake and managed to get it running to get me home. Noticed fuel pump was taking 10 seconds before it would prime.

Got home, put ECU near radiator to dry out and sprayed it with WD40 inside eek Seems to work okay but there is a misfire....

Looks like there was dripping from under dash, and have only just sealed wiper motor area etc, so where could it be coming from?

hi,
it could be coming through the bolt holes which keep your battery held in as you have to seal the bolts in place when you change the battery.

Thats a big leak. Windscreen rubbers? May be an idea to remove floor carpets and hose around car whilst someone watches from inside.

Mines doing this as well. Have always been able to solve these in the past. Car used to leak on both footwells and into well behind drivers seat when I bought (8 years ago) it but resolved all of those and have used as daily driver since in all weathers. The recent leak into the passenger side well has me stumped though. Have pulled out and resealed the windscreen rubbers, around the wiper arms and washer tubes, all the usual culprits in the wing area and the battery bolts plus a few holes that are sealed up at the rear of the footwell behind the battery but still leaking in when just standing in the rain outside the house. Nowhere near as much as you, only a small leak, but just enought to be annoying and mean I can't have the carpets down.
