Right, my interior light works if you manually switch it on. But it won't work when set to be activated if the doors open. I've noticed that when pushing the rocker switch there is a clicking noise from inside the dash. Any ideas what this could be?

Cheers!

Interior light has a delay in switching off when on 'automatic', effected by a timer relay. This is what controls the grounding of the lamp: it has a permanent +12V supply. Sounds like the relay is faulty or is not grounding the lamp (dirty contact?).

It's the really long one, mines was on the right hand side of the fuse board.
I took mine out cause it died and sat draining my battery.
Give me a shout if you want a pic.

Which setting is that? Switch in the middle, towards the dashboard or towards the boot...I can never get that right...somebody always bl00dy fiddles with it.

I've tried all the settings. I've recently had the relay for the light replaced as it wasn't working at all before. Is there a seperate relay just for the delay then?
