I have a very nice Chim 500 in Rolex blue, it has done 35k and is full of leven parts from peddles, dash, levers etc.. free flow exhaust. It is a Fernhurst car from new and has full TVR service.

I know I paid top price as it was from a dealer but I just fell in love with it but due to job changing I might need to move it on, it is on a T plate and I would just like to have an idea of what it would be worth.

Thanks for your help.

Great stuff! 'supergrass' - what an appropriate name!

I put my 400 on ebay. I had 14 watchers but didn't hear a thing, not even a silly offer. Waste of money, but nothing ventured...! Good luck!

I thought so too but there are a lot for sale at the moment. I'm in no rush to sell as the Tuscan won't be ready until June. I'm sure someone will buy it especially with all the work that has been done.
Have you bought one yet?

My mint 500 98' 22,000 miles , went back end of last year £14.5K. it was about as good as it gets for a 98 Chimaera.

If its any consolation I keep looking at your advert and thinking that it looks damn smart, just a shame it isnt a 450 tongue out Never-the-less once I've sold my Fury I may well be in touch.

I see!! Delivery not till June? I was gonna say, was wondering why i didn't see the Tuscan parked outside when i floated past on my way to Golden Acre a week or two back.

Not bought one yet! Had to postpone it! The one i found & took a shine to is still sitting @ Fernhursts, has been for a few months now. I just hope it can last there another month before i can go back to them and buy come June time. Will see how it goes!

Cant wait to see some pictures of the new P&J when it arrives home! Make sure you post some pictures up when the happy day arrives!

Personally, if i were buying, i'd pay around the 16k mark max for a sorted one like that. Ideally though, i'd like to snap it up for say 14k, unlikely though as they're worth a bit more i'd say, especially one like yours, all IMO of course wink

You won't see the car sat on the drive as it's tucked up in the garage until the sun starts showing on a regular basis. Are you working in Golden ave, drop in if you want to talk TVR?
I am probably going to have the Tuscan resprayed in a blue emerald flip colour with black carpets and green alacantara. It's up at Power at the moment. Roll on June, I can't wait!

I took the Chim out the other day and she ran like a dream, the exhaust sounded even better than I remembered. It's going to be hard to see it drive off when it sells, but needs must!

I was up at Fernies the other day but didn't see the one you have your eye on, hope it's still there for you!
I will post some pics when the Tuscan is home.

16k I would be very happy with 14 might be a little to low. But all thanks for the good advice
