I'm thinking about getting the front TVR badge refurbished by Leven.

It seems to be held in place by silicone sealant underneath. There are two bolts that go through to the other side but there aren't any nuts on them so the silicone sealant is the only thing holding it on.

Any tips for getting it off? Just pull it off and deal with the remains or is there a better way?

There should be 2 bolts on those screws. Had mine done not so long ago. Even if there aren't 2 screws i wouldnt't worry about just pulling the badge off as Leven just take yours in and will send you a refurbished badge (not yours).

Maybe someone has had it off before and put it back with double sided trim tape? Hot water (not boiling) will soften glue on tape and get that off no problem.

If it has been glued on, you are on your own!

If it *has* been glued on, you can cut underneath it with dental floss.

Actually there should be two nuts attached to those screws on the inside of the bonnet which hold the front badge on (just like the rear badge). If it's held on with silicone sealer then just prise it off carefully - don't use a lever if you can help it. Floss sounds a good idea if it's strong enough. It should be easy to rub off the residue.
