Larger wheel / trye combination

I have seen a few Chims with larger wheels (around 18 inches) fitted with low profile tyres.

Presumably this throws out the speedo as the circumfrence is wrong but thats an aside. Anyone encounted "wheels too big" issues? Obvious impact is maybe turn circle is reduced or rubbing in inner wheel arch.

Just wondered what the maximum usable size was. 18" looks pretty nice (imho)

I have 17" Front and 18" rear. The tyre profile (height of tyre wall) is chosen to keep the circumference of the wheel the same as the originals. My rears are 245/35ZR18 which is pretty close to the 225/50ZR16 that used to be on the car.
