Sod it. Got home tonight and found I had a NIP for 44 in a 30. Not in the chim , but my people carrier.

On route to work (not in a built up area).

The worry is it was dated 24th and I have been that way every day since. Hope I dont get 1 for every day!
Havent noticed a camera, will look tomorrow,

I guess I am more careful in the chim, and being lower it looks faster.

Most of the while I just burble around, but there are times you just have to give it a blast.

Any idea what penalty ?

44 in a 30? Was it a built up area? That must have been about 48 indicated then?!?!? A bit unwise in the current motor hating culture. Be a LOT more careful in the chim, it's far too easy to press the throttle a touch, and away she goes!!

If it was the strech I think it was, it has a field on one side and houses (but laid back from the road)on the other and no speed signs, just lamposts at a certain distance apart.

Since getting nabed for 38 in a 30 5 years ago, whenever i'm driving i keep an eye out for 2 strips across the road and any vehicle thats parked on the verge!

The main problem is that sometimes you'll daydream drive the routes you travel everyday......i did and paid the penalty!!

Once burnt and all that........driving

Ah, the perfect tax collection site then. There are a few of those around here too, funny how the SCP sit there and not the street to the right which has houses both sides and kids running about.

You must tell your insurance company, but if you only have 3 points they wont care. When I told mine their response was 'most people have 3 points now we ignore it'. None of the premiums for my 3 cars (with 3 different insurers) changed when I informed them. But you MUST tell them.
