hi all,is it a easy job to change the fuel filter.can you clamp the hoses or drain the tank.cheers.
You don't need to drain the tank or clamp the hoses if you take one hose of and straight back on the new filter you can't get the filter the wrong way round.Might be a good idea to replace jubillee clamps aswell.

Hi jayz,
Just done ours,i found the easiest way was to remove the wheel, disconnect the battery and spade from the pump.remove the fuel pipe from the pump and drain fuel into recepticle, very small amount.
When you look at the filter you will see two 10mm nylock nuts, only remove the top one,the stud is welded onto the chassis so you will be able to remove it easily.disconnect the fuel pipe from the filter and remove the complete unit.
Clean and repaint the bracket, renew the fuel pipe from the pump and reassemble with new jubilees.
The original fuel filter is fram and costs about £7.
The only lesson i learned is don't buy the filter from tvr carparts not original equipment and a complete rip off at £18.
Cheers
