Targa Roof- Seal Channel

Hi All,

Looking at my targa roof section, theres a channel on each edge which the seal slides into to seal against the window when the doors shut.

On my car, this channel appears to be roughly an inch short on both sides of the roof. This leaves a section of rubber seal un-supported and as such has torn the (second) seal again.

Is the channel short for a reason?
Is it just my car or all of them?
Where could i get some replacement channel if i wanted to extend it?

They must have been short for some reason when they did yours.

All three parts (Rail, Rail Spacer and seal) are listed here RaceTech Direct although the picture they have for the rail is obviously wrong as it's just a reel of seal !?!?

Might be worth giving them a call to check that they really do mean the metal rail..

After a call to Automedon yesterday i feel a little silly as its obvious why the rails shorter if i'd have just thought about it for 5 mins. The inch gap is the the rear section as they interlock into each other, durrrrrr.
