I used to own the most cracked veneer dashboard in the whole world - not any more - I have now replaced it with one of the last burr walnut dashes to come out of Blackpool. It looks superb - the problem is that the car is a 96 pre facelift and on the lower dash the small plastic inserts covering the status lamps are knackered.

Does anyone know where i can find a replacement for these three plastic inserts ??

How knackered are they? I had one that a previous owner had put a big, deep scratch right across. When I changed the dash, I filed over it with a very fine, flat file (part of a set of needle files) and then went over and over and over it with T-Cut. Came up really smooth and shiney and looks as good as new.

well someone seems to have "painted" them with varnish - which has tainted the plastic. I think however i might give a go to what you have suggested - what have I got to lose. Sounds plausable.
