Looks like I need to get myself a new set of Tyres. I have S03's at the moment. Anyone got any other favourites before I go and get a new set of the same?
Also, being my first TVR tyre buying adventure, how much should I expect to be spending roughly?
Cheers
Stew

Over the past couple of months I've replaced both the front and rear sets. I swapped SO2s for SO3s. On the price front I paid £107 each for the rears from my supplying dealer, then after shopping around paid £75 for each of the fronts - fitted, balanced etc, from Bracknell Tyre - 01344 411323 - They were dead busy - always a good sign and the price was the best I could find.

Micheldever Tyres are usually very good too if you are out the Basingstoke / Winchester area ... always found them to be pretty much unbeatable for any of my cars the last 12 years. Very busy though so you may want to get down there early if you're in a hurry...

Second Bracknell Tyres. Get there early, like 30 mins before it opens. I got there 15 mins after and had to wait another 2 hours.

They do mail order, so if your local muppets are trying it on at £120 a corner, Bracknell are wort a call.

As for tyres, Goodyear F1's got a good (if possibly biased) writeup in Evo last year. Wet weather grip was a lot better than the Bridgestones. Toyo's are supposed to be a bit soft in the side for 15-16" wheels.

Toyo now provide 15" 'Z' rated tyres for Chim/Grif fronts. They're cheep as well.
