windscreen trim
Discussion
Ahhhh...now I had this fixed on mine, fortunately under warrenty.
Mole Valley did it, they said they could just glue the trim back, but as it was the plastic stuff it would probably last a couple of months before peeling off again, so in the end the trim replaced (with leather actually, TVR sent the wrong stuff, to my advantage). But it was an expensive job, mainly due to removing the windshield, which cost a couple of hundred quid, although I'm not sure why....
So, you want to might try just gluing it back for now, and see how it goes.
...or...
You could wait until you get that next stone chip in the windshield and it needs replacing, then try to glue the trim back properly while the screen is being replaced.

I've been living with exactly the same thing for a few years now
I really must get it sorted but the trim people I've spoken to say it can only be done with the screen out, and if you then reglue the original trim it's only a matter of time before it peels off again because it's been cut a little short, the best way would be to have the screen replaced, while the screen is out get a mobile trim chap to replace the whole piece and then let Autoglass back in to put the new screen in

Mine fell out all the way from one side to the other on the Griff.
So I bought one of those 'precision' bottles of Super Glue (has a long thin nozzle and fancy plastic bits you squeeze at the side) and managed to apply glue along the flat edge of the black trim where the liner tucks in against the roof (difficult not to get glue on the windscreen but that scrapes off easily when dry). Then I had to really stretch the lining bit by bit and ram it back into where it came from with the help of some brown wedge shaped plastic spacers that are avaialble at Ikea for laying laminate flooring. Ended up with a row of about 20 of these wedges across the screen, plus a few bits of cardboard for where the gap was too small for a spacer. Left it to dry for about an hour and then removed them all.
Everything seemed fine, but in the morning there were a couple of bits hanging down again. Gave these small areas another dollop of glue and pinned them in again.
Removed them later in the day and the whole thing has stayed intact since.
Total cost = £2.99 plus 2hrs of swearing in 30 degree weather!
