Can't see how you could do it there must be a stop somewhere otherwise they would slide clean off.
There's only 4 13mm nuts mate and you should be able to undo them without jacking the car up.

It's easy just to remove the whole thing - just remember to re-seal when you put it all back smile

Agreed, it is always a shame to hear of another one dying a death.
However, there are a couple of parts i wouldn't mind salvaging if he is open to it where abouts is he?

Had a trip to Dudley have we?
I agree a tragic waste of what seemed a very nice car judging by what he had left when I visited.
He could have thrown a second hand rangie engine in it to keep it on the road if cost was an issue.

The engine could have been replaced for a couple of grand, surely the cost and loss of value of stripping the car for parts would be far more than that? Unless the 'perfect condition' actually hid major problems - an immaculate body and interior could be hiding a pile of rust underneath.

he had a few bits left , full exhaust system ,manifoild etc ,what i did notice is the manifolds had a complete flat hedge which marries up to the head .my manifolds have a raised area which is probably why my manifolds still leak . looks like a build problem ... another eight hours work !

Hi there

Anybody got an email or number for the guy selling the bits?

Require a small engine part, ideal if the engine's broke!

Cheers
