Holy cow! (Just saw your profile.
)
www.tvrfix.com - just down the A3 and left a bit. Piss easy to get to from central London!
I never paid those prices even when having to fix the occasional item.
Wouldn't include tyres in that annual list tbh. Otherwise you should also include oil top-ups and petrol.

12,000 mile service, clutch master and slave cylinder, fuel pump and fuel hose due to leak, 2 new rear tires, fuel relay, other stuff I can't remember.
The service element should be no more than £500 per year.I use a local chap, and my servicing is embaressingly cheap - 12k service, around £150!!
What else has been done each year - do tell.
You should have a virtually rebuilt car for the money you've spent, unless you've been ripped off.
If you sell it now, and the work was genuinely that much, someone else will benefit from your expenditure.
Take it somewhere else for an evaluation.
I wont name the place since you are not allowed to do that here. But, I have taken it to a different place last year for a service and it came to the same amount.
Maybe mines just worn out. I'm doing between 8,000 and 10,000 a year in a 1993 car.
I'll probably keep it till next year then trade it before the sevice and MOT. Thinking Porsche 911 or maybe a new Honda 2000. Opinions?

'Pennywise & poundfoolish' springs to mind. Keeping the car but find a good indie for maintenance will always work out cheaper than shouldering the depreciation on a newer car. Doesn't sound too bad - go indie and maybe do minor stuff yourself, and you should be able to cut down on maintenance costs significantly. Unlikely that your car will depreciate a lot further; unlikely that a 911 or S2000 will cost you less or even the same, when run on the same basis.
Have to say those figures do look a bit rich. I take my Chim to Fernies (where I got the Chim from) for all the work I want or need doing, I simply do not have the time (nor the tools/inclination any more) to do any work myself.
Although I have only had mine 18 months, that includes a 6k and a 12k service, 4 tyres, some chassis 'wash and brush up' and welded manifolds, my bill for that is around half of one of your years.
I am just now having EBC discs, pads, braided pipes, new headlights, shockers, splitter and other stuff done for me and the bill for all that is still below £2k including all the parts.
You needn't pay £2500 a year just for servicing - unless you're doing 30,000 miles p.a. and having 5 services a year of course!
