central locking

The drivers door will lock but the passenger door won't, although it makes the usual locking noises.
Any ideas chaps?

Behind the passenger seat remove the panel behind the carpet and have a look if solenoid or mechanism is broken if you have time dismantle, clean and refit

Mechanism is ok as the door button still works. I'll check the electrics tomorrow. Tks

The pin connecting the solenoid to the mechanism had sheared off; now fixed
