Gents,
From the collective wisdom that is Pistonheads, can anyone advise on how to remove about 10 - 20 mm 'lost motion' on my throttle pedal?

The only adjustment I can see is at the butterfly spindle attachment at the back of the plenum. But - it looks a real swine to get to. I've thought about taking the bracket off to access the 24mm adjust nut....am I on the right track? Access is so restricted with the 'mesh panel' immediately above.

Bump!
Anyone replaced a throttle cable?
You must have got access to the 'engine' end of the cable in order to fix the inner to the operating mechanism?

I had the same issue a couple of months ago and was not getting full throttle travel.

Yes, the only adjustment is to loosen the 24mm nut and wind out the throttle cable outer stop nut to take up some slack. I bought a new throttle cable assuming it had stretched, but in the end didnt need to fit it as there was just enough adjustment left.

Taking out the 6 allen bolts holding the top of the Plenum on and lifting it up and forward gave enough room to get a spanner in.

Cheers for the reply,
Wanted to avoid touching the plenum.....but if that's the way forward, then so be it!

Might have a go tomorrow then.
