Hi there

Just purchased a full ignition system from ACT. Tim did tell me that the rotor arms were crap but I got one anyway.
He wasa right, they are crap, not Lucas branded, but more than that they do not fit. With the rotor in place the cap will not clamp down.
Measured it and there is about 2mm difference in height.

Eventually tracked down a Lucas item, cost me twenty quid though!!!.....for a rotor arm FFS!!!

Tell me about it - Tim was selling them at less than a tenner and you can see why they've all gone. He refuses to pay silly money so doesn't stock the "proper" ones now but we found any others just make the car run really badly, and only solved by an embossed rotor arm ( i bought 6 so got a good deal - but have got 2 Griffs).

The old points v8 distributors use a higher sitting rotor arm, about 2mm up.
Original Lucas one's available for less than £10 at Famous Four in lincolnshire, ex stock.
