Water temp and oil pressure dial wiring.
Discussion
Whilst I was trying to fix a bad earth problem (seperate post) I ripped out my dash in a frenzy chasing back the wires.
I removed all the dials and unfortunatley I did not mark the wires
Since removing the dials I have taken off the bezels and sprayed them silver, they do look good
.
I have just put everything back and my WT and OP dials are not working.
Each one has three wires, the WT has Green, Green Brown and Black. the OP has Green, Green Blue and Black. The dials are ETB type and when looking at them from the rear they have three spades. Top left with one slightly lower and to the left of the first, the last is on the right.
Does anyone have the correct connections? I did try different sequences but still nothing, they either do not move or go over to the right side of the dial (I'll assume thats not right). Are the gauges very sensitive?
I will accept all the grief of serves you right for not marking them but in my defence I was rather hacked off at the time and not in the right frame of mind.
