I've heard that some people have a V large rubber bung in the access hole in the bottom of the bell housing. I am assuming that it would be a good idea to get said bung or fit a plate over the hole to stop road dirt and water getting at the clutch. Any views?

Got mine from e bay last week, there was a guy selling quite a few, his user name is Topdavid, might be worth finding his profile to see if he has any left.

Make one up and attach with silicone sealant, whats the difference? if you drive the car hard hard i would have thought its of benefit to let the hot air escape scratchchinall IMHO of course.
