I never thought I would be writing this but I am. I think I am going to sell my lovely tvr. Gutted is the word, before I bought it I was worried about reliability la la la. Well I have used it every single day for the last year and a half, never let me down including one very snowy trip down to goodwood. I love it, my circumstances have changed so I have no choice. I would not hesitate as I did before about buying a the it is my dream car and always will be

Thanks for listening

Yeah - me too. I think we yacked on the phone very early on - soon after you bought it and were going to that Perry guy who had just relocated his business somewhere in Middlesex. Does that ring a bell?

Anyway Jules - really sorry to hear it but it's NOT the end. Just a pause and hopefully things will improve and you'll feel able to step back in again. You'd be amazed at how fortunes change and things come right in ways not even imaginable when you are on a down swing of the cycle. Nick.

Cant you sell your kids instead? Get the wife on the game? Put one of your kidneys on ebay? Anything to keep your tivver?
Glad to see that you are feeling 'up' again. Hope things are going ok...

It will come around again, if it's what you want. Good luck.

Jules, I really feel for you. I am also in a position where selling is the only option. I had a great guy come to view on Thursday evening (and one let me down on Friday!) and I know it will be a huge wrench when it goes. If you make sure your car goes to someone who will cherish it, it may not be quite as sad as having to sell it to the first one who offers near your asking price. At least then you'll know all YOUR hard work will be appreciated and maintained. Sorry times Jules. Good luck with your sale and with the future. Stu

Been there mate, not easy but the reason you might be selling must be quite important and all said and done it is just a lump of metal and plastic and life is just too important.

Sorry to hear that.

But you can always get another when circumstances permit, and you have had the pleasure of owning such a machine for a nice period of time, that's far more than many people get.

I'll have you know that it is she who locks me in the boot.

I only jumped in to adjust the catch, asking her to shut it for a second to make sure that I'd got it fixed. The bloody bh buggered off to the supermarket for 40 minutes, leaving me locked inside.

She thought it was rofl

I thought it was rage
I'm with her on this one.......roflbowroflbowrofl
