Could anyone shead any light on this problem?
I have recently replaced Front wishbones for tubular ones, new Gaz golds all round, ball joints, track rod ends andpowerflex ARB and wishbone bushes,S/Heaths drop links, i seem to have alot of sideways movement of the anti roll bar ie in and out of the bushes, this movement as a result has nakered one of the powerflex bushes? is this sideways movement normal? i can grab on to the anti roll bar at one end and with some force slide it in and out laterally, i wouldn't of thought after 500 miles the bushes would be unservicable! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure the bar as not corroded to an extent that in the area of where the bar goes thru said bushes the bar as an almost waisted appearance thus creating excess clearance between the bush and the bar?(only needs about 2mm to create this problem)this is quite common on many anti-roll bar systems, you really dont want it swaying about to much frown

Also there has been some variation in ARB diameter. It is possible that the new bushes don't match the bar and that is why it is slipping.
