Hi all, my oil pressure sender has packed up and the gauge is reading anything from 0 to off the scale! I need to replace the oil anyway so I thought I'd do it tomorrow while I have a free afternoon... The question is though, am I going to be able to get hold of a new pressure sender locally? Would my local motor factor have one, and if so is it just a Land Rover part? If not I could probably pop up to Austec and see if they have one on the shelf.

Cheers,

Nick

Nick, the sender is a Land Rover item.
Any of the Land Rover/Range Rover specialists will sell you one.
Don't forget to fill your filter with oil when you do the oil change.
It might be worth checking the wiring to the sender unit under the car, this is in the full
view of road crud and stones so does have a tendency to fail now and again.
Cheers.

You must get the specific one for your car,go to Clever Trevor website,go to manuals at the top, this will show 3 different types of instruments you might have.Once you have found the match for yours then order one from him.If you get the wrong one it will not work..
