Roof/hood

I have not owned my Chimaera very long, a week of which it was in for service and repairs and last week for re-carpet.

so I have just had all new carpets and they had the top off, as a result

RH stay not as tight as before?

Should you have to release the Velcro near the hinge points to get the hood to fold right back and down, I am sure that this was not necessary before removal. is there a good site for instruction on how to set the hood/roof up?

oh just to add, there were some rubber strips, looked as if they were made from inner tube, do people use these as shims?
