Chaps, my electric windows have stopped working, i checked the bible and it says forth fuse along from the left, had a look and all fine. Is that the correct fuse and is there anything else i need to check?

Thanks in advance

Fusebox layouts changed a lot, it may be a different fuse.

Did they both stop working at the same time? The connector to the motor itself is poor but it's easily accessible behind the speaker.

Dont now anything about your car but try checking all the fuses if one has gone that might solve the problem for you, i know its a bit of a long winded way of doing it but i have found other blown fuses that i didn't know of when checking for one i thought had gone, hope it just a fuse fingers crossed!

My only component failure so far has been one of the Vauxhall window switches. If you only have one window not working, swap the switches first to see if the fault follows the switch.

If both the windows have stopped working and the fuse hasn't blown you'll probably find the the electric block connector (brown I think) has fallen off the back of the fuse box! The fuse box is a bit of a chew to take out but pretty simple to do.

Before pulling everything asunder, try a good hard thump at the lower edge of the inside of the door panel in the middle. Worked for me and saves a lot of dismantling. It's been tried sucessfully on this forum before.
