Finaly got round to sorting out my leaky window today, the glass dosent reach the top of the Aluminium door glass support at the front so there is a gap between the window and the seal. Got the door card off, had to inlist my wife to get the final nut off, found the top bolt that holds the central guide runner had fallen out, refitted it, and adjusted the window as much as possible. Still unable to get it to the top of the aluminium support. It would seem the support is too high, not the glass to low. Measuring it against the passanger door, there is a clear gap where it meets the door itself. Cant seem to see anyway to adust it or indeed remove it, looks like its part of the main front channel that goes to the bottom of the door, any ideas?

There's an adjustment screw between the outer door skin and the outer side of the glass, about halfway along the top edge of the door. A thin screwdriver between the glass and the rubber seal should turn it.

There's been a few posts over the years on this, including one with a photo showing the location of the adjustment screw. Try a search in this and the Griffith forum, you might find the photo.

I am also interested in this as the aluminium part on my drivers door is bent which causes the window to rattle when closed. I would like to remove this and either straighten it or replace it. Anyone else tried this?
