Not without changing the hub/strut they haven't.
The later brakes are better but you might be betteroff improving the front first as this will also improve the balance.

Steve's right on both counts. The problem with the rear brakes may well be caused by worn sliders causing the pads to bind. The standard setup is pretty good if you put the right fast road pads in and it is all in good order, and the front brakes are normally the limiting factor. A 285mm front upgrade is the logical step to reduce overheating and improve the brake balance. You can go further, but the costs mount up quite quickly.
Thanks for that, I have already upgrade the front brakes to Grooved and drilled 500 discs(260mm I think),calipers and pads (EBC green)and have Grooved and drilled, EBC on the rear (solid). Was thinking of the factory upgrade, but I'm not mad about spider wheels (maybe 4.5 Cerbera wheels)
