Please could people be on the lookout for a dark blue CHIMAERA 500 (Space Halcyon Blue to be precise - blue/purple in appearance). Reg is R736 YLC. It was stolen from Putney (London) on Tuesday 2nd September and had approx 21,500 miles on the clock. The plates may obviously have been changed, but there aren't that many of these around, so if anyone has any info or suspicions please contact the Police immediately. Thank you in advance for your help - a very distressed legal owner.

Maybe worth emailing the TVRCC as well, as they may put a notice up on their site, which does seem to have a slightly different audience.
Keep 'em peeled.

Sorry to hear this, not a lot I can do other than give this post a sticky for awhile.

As said before a picture would help!

Hope they catch the scroats.

Hope this helps.

just a quick note to let y'all know that Wandsworth police called me yesterday pm to advise that my car had been found on a council estate just off Putney Heath!?! No details on mileage or specific condition (they said that there would have been a note on their report had it been badly damaged - so fingers crossed) - it's currently undergoing forensic tests because of the burglary connection.

Thank you all for your support over the last few days - I really have appreciated it.

All best wishes,

Jono

(ps: please expect vehicle noise emissions in SW London to return to their normal high levels in the next couple of days!)

Good news - I'm glad you posted promptly as I may have introduced myself by carrying out a citizen's arrest on you! I'll keep your plate for a "thumbs up" if I see you in W London

Pleased for you....hopefully the slag that nicked it wont be going for another one......(he cant fail to have been impressed).

Seriously though, consider getting the locks/ignition key changed.

GREAT NEWS!!!!

Glad to see owner and car reunited, i remember me and a few mates catching a gimp trying to break into one of their cars... it's nice living in the middle of nowhere... this gimp had taken a few cars aparently, so we took him into a garage, closed the door and left him there for a few hours to think.... ohhh, the look on his face when we all turned up again at twilight wearing face masks... we had a little talk, then let him go...
funnily enough, we never had any problems again....
it's amazing how "big" they actually are when cornered by 3 or 4 "bigger" guys... took ages to get the smell out of the garage..
