We are desperately in need of late-model Chimaera wing mirrors (driver and passenger side - with the door opening button on the underside!) The factory is out of stock.

Colour is not important. If you have any to sell, please contact Mike Clarke, TVR Sales Manager, at HL Gorner TVR in Wigan on 01942 717373 or 07768 881001. Email: mike.clarke@hlgorner.co.uk

Depends how stuck you are, are they not originally Citroen CX with switches added on?

no - at least don't think so. the later ones are vw corrado, with switches underneath added. as fitted to the cerby - they are smooth.
the citroen ones have the 'ribs' and are like hens teeth. you can convert to the newer ones, and i think somone on here did so recently? ( last six months? ) - do a search. you need a block from blackpool for each side and there is some wiring fun to be had, and, err, 2 mirrors.
cheers

No that was the last 100 Griffs, no reason why they wouldn't fit a Chimaera though
I'd try a local Citeron breaker, it can't be rocket science to drill a hole in the underside and fit a switch in there

My 2000 "X" Chim has the ribbed type, maybe the later ones use the Corrado ones?

Mirror shells I believe are off Citroen BX GTI with a hole in for the button. Try your scrappy.
Best of luck

We've got four mirrors so far - ex Citroen CX - which we need to work on to put the switches in them!

That'll be OK for the time being...but we're still on the lookout for any other suppliers though.

Thanks as well Ivan for the tip about Douglas Valley!

If it doesn’t go against the grain, give Fernhursts a ring (Brian), they had six pairs in stock a couple of weeks ago!

Hope this helps.
