Spotted two Chimaeras today (M1 J14 southbound about 09:30 & Southgate/East Barnet about an hour later). Both with the hoods up. Shame on you both!

(I was in the Disco, 'cos I was going over to mow the M-I-L's grass & the mower don't fit in the Chimaera.)

Don't know about anyone else, but if I'm going on a journey that involves a long-ish motorway stretch I generally go hood-up and drop it down again when I get off the motorway. I generally arrive at my destination more refreshed (less knackered anyway) that way.

I picked up my Chim yesterday and only put the roof on for a couple of minutes, just to show my mates it was easy. Of course I cocked it up a bit and looked a fool.

I always wondered what the MIL light was for on the Chim - it's a Mother-in-Law detector....arf

Couldn't agree more .

Saturday, I left London @ 6:30pm for Oxfordshire, arrived in darkness. Sunday, left Oxfordshire @ 5:45am for Brands Hatch. Both very much al-fresco .

Roof off when it's dark is something I love!

One of the many things I'm looking forward too...

Phil - by now you must almost be a 'black belt' practicioner of the tantric form of TVR purchase.

Such self control!

This morning was the first time the hood has been up on my Chimaera for months. I must be a wimp.

Nope ... I have no self control at all.

The wife however *DOES* have and I know which side my bread's buttered.

Good things come to those who wait ... one day (hopefully soon) I'll post up a pic of the back of a Volvo V40 with a "My other car's a TVR" sticker in it! (Sticker doesn't go in till one's in the garage of course.)
