Newest Chim 400 & 500?

Just seen an advert for a Chim 500 registered 2001, I thought they had stopped putting the 500 engines in them long before that? Anyone know when they stopped?
Come to that, I have a Chim 400 registered 28/10/2000. Can anyone beat that?

As the Chim 450 is still available to special order that does not count.

Boy Racer has a Chimaera 4000 in Cosmos Blue that I sold new - I think that is a October 2000 as yours, there is a Formula Red one with Black hide and a alloy dashboard that is later than that.

All these cars were ordered as stock cars and were kept in the dealer showrooms when the Chimaera slowed down in new car sales in 2000.

Basically everybody went/swapped to the Tuscan as it was not a million miles away in the price range.

I do believe that mine was the last ever Chim 500 to leave the factory and it was registered in mid June 2002.

And as of last week it has a new Leven ali dash.

My Chim 500 is March 2001 (now due it's 1st MOT) with covered lenses. Still haven't seen another with covered lenses on the road.

I must admit at the time when you were parting company with yours I was sorely tempted, hence why I enquired about price.
Still, you bought the Mini and the rest as they say is history
