What does it mean if a bodyshop says my car has been resprayed but is waiting in the queue for fitting up?

Does it mean they are going to wrongly convict it of a crime it didn't commit so it has to escape to the Los Angeles underground, or something else?

I guess it means they need to put back on the bits they took off.
Badges, trim, mirrors, numberplates etc.
