Bought me chim 3 months ago when the sun was scorchio with full intentions of using her all year round. We hav`nt even had a frost yet an i`ve given in.Had it sideways twice (without any effort!)and i just don`t wanna hurt my luvly mota or myself.
Bought a L R Discovery for non chim-friendly days.
Bugga! I hate being proved wrong.
Am i a chicken or just getting wise in my old(36)age?

Either you're unlucky or pushing the car a lot harder than me. I've had mine for about the same time and I think it would be fair to say I've been cautious in it, but nice dry days (like today - not a cloud in the sky!) mean lots of fun...yet to have a problem handling wise.

Off down to Exeter today for the weekend...make the most of the sun!

I'd second that, if it's that easy to get it sideways then something's a miss or you're trying too hard.

What shape are the tyres in?

Hey all
I use my chim all year round and she loves it. Had her out in the snow last year and she was remarkably well behaved with MUCH care on the loud pedal.
My chim seems to get very unhappy if not driven regularly, too much fun not to really!!!

have to agree.

there's a problem ( tyre pressures maybe? ) or it's user error.

sorry.

Ho Hum.
Advanced driver training course methinks!
Tyres okay,driver error probably.
Got the L.R beast now so all corners covered.
Safe is best.

i used my S3 every day but the chim i bought is so immaculate i cant face using it during the sh*t weather so went out and bought a mundano for the winter. Good job too, as the chim has been off the road since the week after I bought my Ford
