Clutches?

Hello all.

As my latest sojourn in the desert at her Majesty's pleasure is almost over my thoughts turn to the impending clutch release bearing replacement and therefore the clutch itself.

My question is: has anybody recently purchased a clutch kit and where is the best place to get one.

Whilst I obviously require a quality item and not a Vitesse plate or anything like that, I'm on a budget and wondered if anyone had a good deal recently. Its just the parts I'm after as I have access to a ramp etc.

I'll be doing the propshaft and driveshaft couplings aswell. Are they TVR items or can I obtain them anywhere?

I replaced mine last year, speak to RPI engineering they bought all of Morgans stock of uprated clutches for the V8, these were built for their 4.6 litre model and is higher spec than the TVR item, I think delivered inc VAT it came to about £120, the TVR item is £190.
